Michael Fay, B.A.

After a twenty-year career at Toronto Public Health, working with refugees, drug users, and street youth, Michael specializes in health promotion among marginal populations. He developed a made-in-Canada approach to inclusion and has applied that approach to innovative research and program development.

He is also a writer. He studied creative writing with W. O. Mitchell, Alice Munro, and Richard Ford. As a journalist, he was twice elected President of the Periodical Writers Association of Canada. He has written three plays, including the award winning, “Never Such Innocence Again”. He is an active volunteer and was nominated as Artist of Distinction and Highlander of the Year in 2007.
